Belgian Wedding in Walloon Brabant

It is so lovely to look back at these images and be able to re-live this wedding day back in July 2016. Full of warmth, love, friendship, laughter and amazing food. What else does a real wedding day need?!

Shot on medium format Fuji400H and Ilford 3200 film. Developed and scanned by the cool dudes at Carmencita Film Lab. Many thanks to Anna Doshina for 2nd shooting.

Paris Elopement: J&M

I couldn't have been any happier when I got asked to photograph J&M Paris Elopement last October. Say the word "Elopement" and I'm totally in, especially if it's takes place in Paris during autumn, my favorite season. J&M are both Brazilians who decided to tie the knot in the City of Love. They were so much fun and I really enjoyed being part of their day.

I feel so fortunate to do what I do, being a photographer. This job has been taking me to incredible places to meet awesome people and document valuable moments in their lives. I'm very grateful for this!

Mom & Child Session - Sint-Baafsabdij, Gent

Two weeks ago I met this lovely duo for a hybrid (film & digital) Mom & Child session in the Sint-Baafsabdij in Gent. Like all my family sessions, I like to leave people the most comfortable as possible between themselves and I strive to capture only the natural moments. This is just how I like to shoot and mostly how I get the best results.gianelimaphotography_annelies_0001 gianelimaphotography_annelies_0002 gianelimaphotography_annelies_0003 gianelimaphotography_annelies_0004 gianelimaphotography_annelies_0005

Marleen on film

The thing about analogue photography is that waiting to see photos you took a few weeks ago is something quite exciting. You never know what you gonna get and it's always nice to positively surprised. We had something like ten minutes for these photos after a studio session done in Aalst, Belgium. It was cold, starting to rain so we had to be quick. The model is Marleen Verschroeven and it was such a pleasure to work with her for this shoot.
